Paedophile Ring Discovered

As the Catholic Church in the US is trying to come to terms with scandals of paedophilia, disquieting reports reaching The Accra Daily Mail speak of the existence of a paedophile ring in the nation's capital, masterminded by an aging American man. A victim, who disclosed this horror story to The Accra Daily Mail, said he was lured into the ring when he was only 14 years old. Other under-aged youths about the same age were similarly involved.

Now an adult, the victim said he was promised financial reward at the time because the man had said to him that his life depended on the semen of young boys. An amount of money in US dollars was promised as compensation, which several years on is yet to materialise. The details of his story are too heartbreaking to narrate in these pages. He said to The Accra Mail that his purpose of going public is to seek compensation from the man who so abused him and other young people and also to alert society of the dangers lurking around waiting for unsuspecting Ghanaian boys to fall in. The man, he said is still living in Accra and enjoying the respectability normally reserved for honourable old men. He said he recently tried to seek some redress through a lawyer and also made approaches to CHRAJ but all to no avail. Names, locations and other details are withheld as we put the pieces together.
