Parliament is expected to reconvene from their Christmas break today, Tuesday, 29 January 2019 to begin the first meeting of the third session of the seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
Among the items for consideration during today’s sitting will be the passage of the age-old Right to Information Bill as well as the State of the Nation Address to be delivered by President Nana Akufo-Addo next month.
Also, members of the House are expected to debate and approve the Holidays Amendment Bill which seeks to introduce two new holidays in the country.
