This comes in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling, which stayed the Speaker’s decision to declare four seats vacant.
The Speaker’s ruling had made the NDC caucus the Majority, forcing the NPP caucus to become the Minority.
However, the Supreme Court’s ruling has shifted the dynamics, meaning that if the Speaker adheres to it, the NPP will retain its Majority status while the NDC will revert to their Minority status.
