Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey was outstanding once more for Atletico Madrid as they swept aside Sevilla in a 5-2 win in La Liga on Sunday.
Diego Coasta opened the scoring at the Sanchez pijuan in the 29th minute before Antoine Griezmann doubled their lead on the stroke of half time.
Griezman got his second from the penalty spot in the 51st minute, with the scores at 3-0, the impressive Thomas Partey was substituted for Correa.
Koke added the fourth while Griezmann scored another to complete his hat trick and make it 5-0.
With barley ten minutes to go on the clock, the home team finally woke up and got two consololation goals through Sarabia and Ben Yedder.
The result meant that Diego Simeone’s men are back within 7 points of league leaders Barcelona.
