A Reverend Minister of the Living Grace Ministry International (LGMI), Apostle Kwame Baidoo has condemned occultism as evil and abominable practice before God.

He observed that some self-acclaimed Ghanaian Christian leaders, the youth and others in certain leadership positions were engaged in the practice for reasons such as power, fame or money and advised, those involved to stop as it could hinder the manifestation of the power and blessings of God on the country.

Apostle Baidoo who is the Pastor in-charge of the Sunyani Estate branch of the LGMI gave the condemnation in a sermon on the theme “Calvary Experience” at a Church service on the Easter Sunday.

He stated the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ had given humanity unhindered access to the throne of God to receive grace and mercy “to help us as individuals and a nation in times of need”.

It was therefore needless to count on any other source of spiritual power for whatever blessings of life, Apostle Baidoo emphasised.

He said Christians should not acknowledge Easter as any ordinary occasion, but as a commemoration of the great love and mercy shown to all by God through Jesus Christ.
