Patrick Awuah, Kofi Annan make world's 100 Most Reputable list

Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan (51st) and fellow Ghanaian Dr Patrick Awuah (68th) have been named among the 100 most reputable people on earth.

The list, compiled by South African research-based, global performance-management consulting company Reputation Poll, also has among the 100, other Africans such as Akinwumi Adesina (3rd), Bishop David Oyedepo (14th), Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (17th), Desmond Tutu (27th), Dr Okonjo Iweala (28th), Mo Ibrahim (62nd), Obiageli Ezekwesili (65th), Paul Kagame (69th), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (80th), and Trevor Noah (94th) among others.

Reputation Poll’s inaugural list of 100 Most Reputable People on Earth, which is of individuals across the globe who have amassed high reputation for themselves through the works they have been engaged in, features individuals from diverse sectors including politics, entertainment, policy, education, business, etc.

It also has representation from 37 countries across the globe.

Notable individuals on the list include renowned Evangelist Billy Graham, 98, who doubles as the oldest person and Raymond Wang, Malala Yousafzai, both 19 years, are the youngest people to be listed.

Statistically, the USA has the largest share of reputable personalities numbering 39. The list has 25 females, three couples and 72 males.
