Paul Adom-Otchere has denied blocking an OSP probe
Broadcast journalist and host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom-Otchere, has clarified reports suggesting that he is seeking to block the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) from accessing his asset declaration details.
In a statement posted on his Facebook wall on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Adom-Otchere stated that, contrary to reports, he has already complied with the OSP’s directive to submit his asset declaration forms.
According to the statement, Adom-Otchere completed and submitted the required forms to the OSP on October 23, 2025, accompanied by a letter of protest raising concerns about the process.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Adom-Otchere already filled the forms requested by the OSP and submitted same on the 23rd October, 2025,” the statement clarified.

It further emphasised that the media personality’s intended legal action is not to block the OSP’s work but rather to “settle the law and procedure” regarding the matter.
“Mr Adom-Otchere remains committed to assisting the OSP to bring finality to the issues in question,” the statement added.
The OSP recently initiated steps to verify asset declarations of certain public officers and persons of interest as part of its broader anti-corruption mandate.
Adom-Otchere’s move to seek legal interpretation is expected to test the boundaries of the OSP’s authority in the enforcement of asset declaration laws.
