A ‘Man of God’ and head of a popular prayer camp in Accra, who allegedly sexually molested several children he was shepherding, is walking virtually free, almost one year after he was arrested. At least eight of the girls, aged between three and twelve years, were, according to medical reports, defiled several times to the extent that doctors recommended some of them undergo HIV/AIDS tests.
Prophet James Nana Akwasi Agyeman, leader and founder of Shiva Linga Prayer Camp at St. John’s, near Achimota, has since 6th April, 2007, been charged with defiling the girls during the three-year period they and their parents stayed in his camp. Even though the case had passed through the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs, the Attorney-General’s Department and the Cocoa Affairs Court before landing at the Greater Accra Regional Tribunal, observers think the road to justice is being pursued at snail’s pace. As at the time of filing the story, only two out of the eight girls had testified in court. Interestingly, while the victims have for the past one year been confined to the Abused Children’s Shelter at the Department of Social Welfare at Osu, the accused person is still going about his ‘business’.A supposed pastor of the Lord’s flock Pastor James Nana Kwasi Agyeman leader of the Shive-Linga Prayer Group headquartered in Abidjan and winged elsewhere at Saint John in Accra whose love for erotic and sensual tastes challenges that of roguish Satan, actually seduced 12 helpless girls whose parents left them in his care.
Painstaking investigations conducted by THE SUN has led the paper to the finding that the defiled kids were daughters of Ghanaian members of the Abidjan branch of the Church, who gave out the kids so the romantic pastor could fend for them at school.
The end result has been that the Ministry for Women’s and Children Affairs has had to relocate the poor de-virgined kids to the ABUSE CENTRE in Accra, after a Police raid led to their freedom.
The pain and anguish of the whole episode is that the pastor is said to have replaced the freed kids with a whole new batch, and is known to be ‘firing’ defiling missiles every now and then, whenever blood shoots up his veins.
THE SUN’s investigations into the genesis of the sordid story is that, about three years ago some members of Pastor Nana Agyemang’s Church in Marcroy, Abidjan-Ivory Coast sent their children to stay at the Church’s Mission House at St. Johns, near Dome in Accra . This arrangement was to enable the children of Ghanaian parents in Abidjan attend school in Ghana.
The PITIFUL 12, whose ages range between three to 10 years were therefore sent to Ghana on the premise that the pastor was going to take care of them in an exceptional way.
That exceptional way turned out to be constant night sex bashes of the innocent kids some of whom, giving birth would forever be as elusive as a jump from sinful earth to righteous heaven.
THE SUN gathered that ‘Pastor’James Nana Kwasi Agyemang who has a damning track record beginning from his days at Asante Akim Agogo, from where he fled to Abidjan had other plans altogether, when the children finally arrived in Ghana.
For reasons best known to him he turned these under-aged kids into sex machines. Pastor Agyeman’s misdeeds came to light when a new arrival, a six-year-old girl who came down for holidays from Abidjan in 2006 was brutally seduced at the Mission House like the perpetrator would, a matured lady in her prime.
When the girl arrived in Abidjan after her short stay at the so-called Mission House, her condition of health deteriorated until her parents discovered that she had been sexually abused beyond medical understanding.
When the girl was asked, she told her parents the ordeal she went through at the hands of so called Pastor Agyemang. The girl also told her parents how she was warned never to disclose the act to anybody otherwise death would come knocking her door.
“In fact when she narrated the story we were all shocked, more so when she told us that other children at the Mission House have also suffered the same fate, “ a distraught parent whose daughter was also abused told THE SUN.
Yet again THE SUN gathered that when the parents of kids called to verify the story, their wards confirmed it much to their relief. Pastor Nana Agyemang was therefore confronted with the fact but he initially denied it and even refused and resisted moves by the angry parents to accompany him to Ghana for a fact-finding mission.
He claimed at the time that he was traveling to South Africa and therefore bolted away from Abidjan.
However some weeks later he rang the members to warn them never to step foot in Ghana because according to him, the Police were searching for the parents of the girls. This claim did not deter the parents when they came down to Ghana to see things for themselves.
THE SUN gathered that in December 2006, a complaint was lodged with the authorities and when the kids were sent to hospital for medical tests it came to light that they had been seduced for so long a time.
For well over one month around the time, the Police combed for Pastor Agyemang to no avail. He was however arrested upon a tip-off in his hideout.
When THE SUN reached him for a reaction, Pastor Agyemang refused to comment saying he was standing trial and would later asked a certain Cephas who is also known as Darlington to speak to this reporter. THE SUN is still at the romantic pastor’s tail as it chases much more sordid acts he has perpetrated against humanity.
