Pentecost Church dedicates Mission House

Tarkwa (W/R), March 01-GNA-The Church of Pentecost, Tarkwa North District has inaugurated a 615 million cedis mission house with a call on church members to rededicate and commit themselves to serving God in spirit and in truth.

The elders and pastors of the church must also take decisions and act under the inspiration of God. The head pastor of the Tarkwa West D istrict Rev. Edward Kweku Kyei, who gave the advice in a sermon to mark the day, urged Christians to remain steadfast and come under the banner of the Lord. He made it clear that as Christians, problems are bound to come their way but they should always look up to God for solutions, adding , Jesus is more than great to surmount all problems. Rev. Kyei cautioned the gathering that as Christians, they represent the Temple of the Lord and therefore should lead exemplary lives worthy of emulation.

Tarkwa area head of the church, Apostle Steven Chemel, who presided over the function also admonished the church members to use the edifice appropriately to serve the purpose for which it was intended. For his part, the pastor in-charge of the Tarkwa north district of the church of Pentecost, Pastor Padi Odonkor gave account of how the building was started in 2000 and its completion and commended all those who in diverse ways contributed to the building. The dedication service was under the theme, 93Jesus Christ our refuge and priest".
