Elmina (C/R), Aug. 9, GNA - Nana Ato Arthur, Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) District Chief Executive (DCE), on Sunday repeated calls on Ghanaians not to let partisan politics induce bitterness, chaos and division among them.

He stressed that, it was imperative that everyone stuck to his or her political ideology, and voted according to convictions but should not resort to trampling on the rights of others by coercing them into accepting what they did not believe in.

Nana Arthur gave the advice at a service organised at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church at Elmina to climax a three-day camp meeting of the Children of Mary, a youth group within the Church. The DCE repeated calls on parents to take their responsibilities towards their children seriously by paying their school fees to enable them to stay in school, instead of spending their monies on social activities.

Turning to the youth, he charged them to refrain from immoral activities and shun suggestive lyrics that would influence them into adopting bad habits. The Rev. Father Francis Amonoo, Parish Priest, told the children that since the Virgin Mary was their Patron Saint, they should regard her as their role model to enable them to maintain their virginity. Failure to do that would make them to contract HIV/AIDS, which was incurable, he warned. He called on all Ghanaians to rededicate themselves to the service of God and the nation.
