Residents of Adenta New Site in Accra were thrown into a state of shock Monday morning after a coffin containing human parts was exhumed from a land which is being developed.

An eye witness, Prosper Semanyo, who’s a relative of the land owner explained to Kasapafmonline.com, that his uncle who’s resident abroad gave the land to a man identified as Martin to stay on it while he was away in order to prevent encroachers from stealing the land.

Martin, was said to have erected a wooden structure on the land in which he lived for the past several years.

According to prosper, his uncle after ten years continuous stay abroad decided to return to Ghana to build a house on the land.

Unknown to the family, Martin had consulted a powerful fetish priest and had buried juju beneath the land, ostensibly to charm and force the land owner to forget about his land to enable him [Martin] take it.

“We went on the land on Friday in preparation to start developing it, but to our shock we found a coffin sitting on the land following which we made a police report. We came back to the land this morning [Monday] to continue work. My Uncle hired some persons to uproot a tree on the land, as they were digging they suddenly found another coffin underground which contained red piece of red kaliko, human bones and two wooden miniature human carving,” Prosper noted.

He added that the items found were indication of Martin’s intention of taking over the land as he’s boasted to some residents.

Martin, is said to have vamoosed as soon as he realized the tree was about to be uprooted and has since not been found.
