European football specialist, Reuben Obodai brings you first instalment on how Ghanaian players performed in abroad on Friday and Saturday.

Schlupp found joy in front of goal again as he turned in Michy Batshuayi's rebound into a gaping net to condemn Fulham to their 16th defeat of the campaign - It was the attacker's second goal against the Cottagers this term. Fulham became the first side in top-flight history to lose eight successive London derbies.

Bernard Tekpetey grabbed his eight league goal as SC Paderborn thump Greuther Furth. The powerful has taken up the challenge of dropping from the elite division to play more games at the club in great stead. If he continues to keep finding the back of the net, it would not be a surprise to see him return to the Bundesliga again.

Ati-Zigi recovered from last week's blunder to play a significant role in Sochaux win. It is surely refreshing news for the technical handlers of Ghana's senior national team to see their two top goalkeepers playing regularly for their respective clubs.
