Takoradi, July 7, -GNA-A 10-member delegation from the University of Utah in the United States of America have paid a working visit to the Western, Eastern, Ashanti and Greater Accra regions as part of an exchange programme.
The group led by Nadia Miniclier, the Director of Clinical Evaluation at UTAH said the visit, which formed part of the exchange programme between medical assistants in Ghana and Physician Assistants programme of UTAH.
She said the exercise was aimed at bringing students from the USA to undertake clinical work in rural communities and clinics in the country while at the same time learning more about Ghanaian work ethics in the health field.
Nana Gyansah, Western Regional Chairman of the Medical Assistants Association said the group have brought with them new technologies and learnt more about the practical work in the various hospitals they visited. 07 July 08
