According to the Assistant Headmaster, Abdulai Abubakari, academic sessions were ongoing smoothly until 8:30am when the incident occurred with no idea of its cause. Our correspondent said residents in Zebilla expressed anger at Ghana National Fire Service officers - whose post is not far from the school - for initially ignoring calls placed to them to rescue the situation. The fire officers have since put the fire under control with investigations set to begin immediately.
