Plan your life before entering politics – Hamza Suhuyini

Lawyer and member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team, Hamza Sayibu Suhuyini, has advised individuals aspiring to venture into politics to first plan their lives thoroughly.

Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana on July 8, 2025, and monitored by GhanaWeb, Suhuyini stressed that the demands of political life can be extremely intense and emotionally draining.

He cautioned that without proper life planning and stability; one is likely to be overwhelmed by the pressure associated with political office.

“The workload or pressure can be very overwhelming, and not having a planned life ahead will hit you hard,” he said.

He added that when people enter politics unprepared, the stress and demands can cause their personal lives to collapse.

Hamza urged young politicians and aspirants to ensure they have a strong personal and professional foundation before venturing into public service.
