Welcome to our LIVESTREAMING of the 2019 Otumfour Osei Tutu II Commemorative Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The match is a renewal of the rivalry between two magnanimous West African Clubs, Kumasi Asante Kotoko versus ASEC Mimosas.

The match is in commemoration of Otumfour Osei Tutu II 20 years on the Asante Golden Stool.

Asante Kotoko and ASEC Mimosa have together annexed 81 major trophies in history and have contributed immensely to the development of football and unity in Africa not forgetting the great football talents they have produced in time past.

Asante Kotoko have had a good campaign at the continental level at the CAF Confederations Cup where they managed to reach the Group Stages of the competition with an unbeaten run.

The Porcupines have however failed to replicate their good form in the ongoing NC Special competition having a tough nightmare having finished 2nd behind regional rivals, Ashanti Gold but they managed to seal a semifinal berth and will be hoping to return to the continental stage next season if they succeed at making it to the finals.

ASEC Mimosas on the hand have been very good especially in their league. In Africa this season, they played in the CAF Champions league where they were drawn in the same group with WAC, Sundowns and Lobi Stars. They also failed to advance to the knockout stage.

ASEC is not new to football fans in Ghana, in previous years they have played against both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko. Just recently in 2018, they took on Aduana Stars in the Confederations Cup.

ASEC landed in Ghana last Thursday with most of their key players, as part of the arrangement, both teams paid a courtesy visit to the King on Friday at the Manhyia Palace where they all presented to him their replica jersey with his name customized at the back.
