Police Warn Ataa Ayi To Surrender

The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has warned the two most wanted criminals on their list, Ataa Ayi and Mpata to surrender themselves wherever they are, so that they could be treated with respect.

According to the Regional Commander, ACP Kofi Boakye, time is running out for the two criminals, who have been named in most armed robbery cases across the country. ACP Kofi Boakye told Peace that, Ataa Ayi the most wanted will be arrested within the next 24 hours hopefully. According to him, the Police missed him narrowly in Bawku during the operation in which one of the members of his gang, Madi Musah was arrested.

The Police Commander has further assured victims of car snatching incidents, that their cars would be found and returned to them, in not more than a week's time.

Mpata who is Ataa Ayi's accomplice, is said to have stopped fellowshipping with a church in Tema where he is an elder and a regular Bible reader. According to the commander, the two criminals can run, but cannot hide themselves from the police.
