Mr Danso was arrested at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle for his armed robbery training activities
A 40-year-old carpenter, Benjamin Danso has been arrested by the Accra Regional Police Command for allegedly recruiting and training people for armed robbery, and the other for impersonating a police.
The Head of Public Directorate of the Accra Regional Police Command, Inspector Kwabena Danso addressing the media announced that: "One pistol with one live ammunition was retrieved from the suspect.”
Additionally, he said that: "Mr Danso was arrested at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle for his armed robbery training activities and also possessing ammunition.”
The other suspect, William Dapetem, 42, was also picked up at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle for wearing a stolen police uniform.
