Police confirms death of the alleged "Killer" of five children

Accra, Jan. 7, GNA - The Police Hospital in Accra on Thursday confirmed the death of Georgina Akweley Pipson, the woman who allegedly killed her five children at Nyanyano near Kasoa in the Central Region, last Sunday, January 3.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kennedy Japiong, Deputy Officer in-charge of the Out-Patient Department (OPD) of the Police Hospital in Accra, said for medical and security reasons management could not release the cause of death to the media.

However, he said the information would be made known to the public when available.

Meanwhile, available information reaching GNA indicated that Georgina was found in an abandoned vehicle at a garage in Madina, an Accra suburb, with a small lady's purse and a pocket diary, in which she had written some things that summed up emotions and happenings in her mind. She had written "My people deserted me", "God give me hope", "Forgive me and my children, Nana, Kwaku, Angel, Kofi, and Esi", "What a painful world", "God have mercy on me and my children", "Why, Kojo my husband" ,"Kojo, l do love and will never forget you". 7 Jan. 10
