Police firmly on the ground to deal with criminals - ASP Nartey

Nsawam (E/R), April 1, GNA - The Nsawam District Police Commander, ASP Emmanuel Asafo Agyei Nartey has said the police have intensified day and night patrol to flush out criminals who have made the surroundings of the Densu River and the rail line at Oparekrom their abode.

He said the criminals have been snatching personal belongings such as mobile phones, bags, watches and even assaults their victims who does not have monies on them.

The District Police Commander gave the assurance when he briefed the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on measures taken to deal with criminals who operate in the district.

ASP Nartey said the patrol exercise would not be a nine-day wonder but it would continue until the miscreants are dealt with for the people to have peace to go about their day-to-day activities.

He said the exercise would also deal with drivers who flout road and traffic regulations in the district.
