National Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sidi Abubakar has called for the arrest and prosecution of Kwame Baffour aka Abronye DC, the Brong Ahafo regional Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), for mobilizing and invading homes of individuals to seize vehicles he [Abronye DC] claims are state vehicles.

Sidi Abubakar says, the NPP officer does not work with the National Security, Police or Military, so in what capacity will a regional organiser of a political party get the mandate to organise the military to invade somebody’s house and say they are going to seize what he terms stolen cars?

Sidi Abubakar who was angered by the invasions threatened that he will, in his capacity as youth organiser of the NDC, organise the youth of the umbrella family to defend themselves against the ‘’lawlessness’’ should President Nana Akufo-Addo fail to call his men to order.

"Enough is enough for this kind of things in this country. If Nana Akufo-Addo is telling us that he cannot call his people to order, I am telling you as the Youth Organizer of the NDC, I will also take up my rightful position by mobilizing my people to defend our leaders across the country because we cannot sit down for our leaders to be attacked day in day out."

He lamented that he has been receiving distress calls from members nationwide who believes they have to defend themselves and so ‘’if the police does not invite that guy, I am telling you that we will also be mobilising our members to defend ourselves.

When the host told him that his comment was not good and undermines the work of the police he said, what the gentleman is doing is a clear indication that he’s having the support of the president.

He questioned the audacity Abronye had to tell the public that he led the military to invade the house of Kofi Adams.

"You could see clearly that the gentleman is doing what he is doing with the approval of Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana...I don’t think Ghanaians voted for Nana Akufo Addo to go round and be chasing people for their personal properties. Ghanaians voted for Nana Akufo-Addo because, he went round telling lies that he will reduce taxes, utilities…If you know that you cannot rule as president, you should not create the impression that people have stolen state properties," he said.

He described the move as an intimidation adding, if Nana Addo wants the country to go down, they NDC with a revolutionary background will help him do that.

He said we warned Ghanaians that Nana Addo was a violent person but they failed to listen and today, we are witnessing his lawlessness he added.

"Ghanaians have voted for him to govern, he has no business to chase people…The man cannot rule, he is only looking for a way out but he should not bring it on the NDC... They thought they can intimidate us.

"They should know the background of the NDC. We are from a revolution and I’m telling you that, if Nana Addo wants this country to go down, we are also ready to join him because what he is doing, we cannot take it anymore.’’

"We already warned Ghanaians about the behaviour of Nana Akufo-Addo. We told them that Nana Addo is a violent person and when you vote for him, he will do nothing but,’’ lead and support violence in Ghana.

He said people thought Nana Addo will be sober but he has affirmed that the claims about his violent nature were true.

Sidi Abubakar posited that they have decided to defend themselves because the police have failed to crack the whip because the new IGP is in to do the bidding of the NPP.

He said, we have given the police the opportunity to protect lives and properties but they are not doing it. They are not doing it because, Nana Addo has told them not to do it and so, very soon they will see our mobilisation. Since the security cannot protect us, we will protect ourselves.
