The Ghana Police Service, in collaboration with local residents of Mayas Deeper Life, a suburb of Weija in the Greater Accra Region, are on the hunt for a man named Kadri Kaka for allegedly smashing his 8-year-old stepson’s fingers with a hammer.
According to a post by SIKAOFFICIAL on the X app on November 27, 2024, the incident occurred over a missing GH¢2.
The boy also reported that his stepfather had previously punished him by hanging him in an uncompleted building.
The report added that the injured child is currently receiving medical attention from local authorities.
The post read, “The Ghana Police Service and local residents at Mayas Deeper Life, a suburb of Weija, are currently on the manhunt for a man identified as Kadri Kaka after he allegedly smashed his 8-year-old stepson’s fingers with a hammer.
According to the boy, his stepfather carried out the gruesome act over his missing GH¢2 and has on other occasions hanged him in an uncompleted building as punishment. The injured boy is currently with local authorities receiving medical attention.”
