Police mount search for two cocoa purchasing clerks for fraud

The Sekondi Police has mounted a search for two cocoa purchasing clerks, Sampson Nador and Fatima Rose Awudu for fraud.

Chief Inspector John Kingsley Benjin said the complainant, Atta Bramiah Yaw, District Manager of Produce Buying Company limited in Tarkwa, reported to the police that he gave GH¢13,780 to Nador on January14, to supply 63 bags of cocoa beans to him.

He said Nador supplied only 17 cocoa bags and had since failed to supply the rest saying persistent calls on him to supply the remaining 46 had fallen on deaf ears.

Chief Inspector Benjin said Mr Bramiah Yaw also gave GH?17,808 to Madam Fatima Rose Awudu, purchasing clerk from Banso Anyinase in the Tarkwa Municipality to supply him 84 bags of cocoa beans and in the same instance too she failed to supply the cocoa beans.

Police investigations continue as they seek suspects.
