Police offers Ghc5000 for shooters of morning show host

The Ashanti Regional police have placed a Ghc5,000 bounty on the head of the robbers who shot the morning show host of Kumasi-based Kapital FM, Kojo Marfo.

According to the police, four persons - Baba Musa, Sadat Bawale, Nazir and 'Joe Crack' – have been identified as suspects.

The presenter who was shot two weeks ago with two other friends by the unknown assailants off the Obuasi-Kumasi road at Trede near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region is fast recovering.

He was shot in the thighs whiles his friends sustained severe injuries.

According to the Ashanti regional police commander, DCOP Kofi Boakye: “Efforts are underway to arrest the armed robbers.”

He appealed to the public to come forward with any tip-off to aid in investigations.
