The Asante Bekwai traditional council headed by Nana Karikari Apau II, Bekwaimanhene, has donated items worth seven million cedis to Bekwai Police service to enable them feel at home in their duties. The items include Oil and Emulsion paints, Brushes, Turpentine and filler. Speaking before the presentation of the materials, Nana Karikari Apau II stated that since the police station was established about 40 years ago, it has not seen any proper renovation. Moreover, the walls are crying for paints. Therefore, when the authorities of the service in the area appealed to the traditional council for help, they thought it wise to donate the above items to help solve part of their problems.
