Busa, Jan 5, GNA - The Wa Police are searching for a 20 year-old Fulani man for allegedly shooting a Fulani boy with a locally made shotgun at Busa, a village in the Wa Municipal Assembly. Police Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh, Officer in-charge of the Police Public Affairs Unit, told the GNA on Friday that on December 30 last year the suspect' Paate Jaji, visited his brother at Busa for the Eid-Ul/Adha celebration.

In the evening, while the children were playing and making noise, the suspect ordered them to either stop playing or face his wrath but the children ignored his orders and continued to play.

The suspect pulled out a locally manufactured gun and shot into the group of children, hitting Shaibu Adu in the ribs. Abu is on admission at the Wa Regional Hospital.
