A uniformed police officer with the Ghana Police Service has been caught by Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) stealing a Huawei Mobile phone at the Marina Mall in Accra, MyNewsGh.com can report.
A video footage of the police officer obtained by MyNewsGh.com showed him walk to the counter of the Marina Mall Forex Bureau where a customer had left his Huawei phone and without thinking twice the policeman picked it and pocketed it, the video confirmed.
MyMewsGh.com observed other customers who had come before the policeman left the phone where they saw it.
Official police records sighted by MyNewsGh.com stated that the incident happened on Sunday 25th November 2018 at the Marina Mall at about 12:30 pm.
An official report has been lodged at the Airport Police Station accompanied by the CCTV footage showing the full face of the policeman.
