Positive Change Is Only At Castle - Dr Mahama

The flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC) in the 2000 elections, Dr Edward Mahama says the New Patriotic Party’s much-publicised ‘positive change’ can only be felt at the Castle (seat of government) and not in the whole country. According to him, it is a blatant lie for government to claim that its policy of positive change is reflecting in the life of the average Ghanaian.

The PNC leader urged government to adopt pragmatic measures to revamp the ailing economy so that Ghanaians can enjoy better life. Dr Mahama holds that the stability of the Cedi, which has been achieved since government took office, cannot be used as a yardstick to claim that the living standards of Ghanaians have improved, since Ghanaians continue to live under harsh economic conditions.
