Deputy National Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ruth Seddoh has warned the Electoral Commission boss Jean Mensah that the party’s youth are hungry for power and are poised to crush anyone who stands between them and winning the 2020 polls, MyNewsGh.com reports.
Speaking at the 37th anniversary of the 31st December revolution at Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region, she warned that any group that attempts to sabotage this project will be faced squarely.
“I would like to issue a stern warning to you that the youth of NDC are hungry for power. We are more than poised and charged to return NDC to power come 2020. Any force, person or group of persons who try to impede our progress will be fiercely resisted and we take a cue from our founder’s, “POSITIVE DEFIANCE” mantra”, she said.
The NDC youth leader advised the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Madam Jean Mensa to discharge her duties devoid of her political affiliations warning that she is under the lenses of the party to be certain she is not doing the bidding of the ruling party.
