"Where is the full Dzamefe Commission Report?" this is a question thrown to government by Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr.

"It is not even in the interest of government that report is not out," he adds, stating that the lack of release of the paper makes it difficult commenting on the Commission's report. The White Paper is not enough to do any conclusive analysis of their work.

According to Mr. Pratt; it is not for nothing that the law states that a white paper should be released with a full report, bemoaning the fact that today a White Paper is out and the full report is still not released.

He revealed on Peace FM on Tuesday morning that contrary to statements by people in government that the report was available at Assembly Press, there were no copies there as at 3 pm on Monday.

The senior journalist expressed worry that the current unavailability of the report opens the floodgates for people to interpret the content and findings of the Commission's work based on the White Paper.

He observed that there is an element of the interim report which is not fair, especially because it seems to implicate officials at GFA but does not give full details of their involvement in whatever wrong that went on.

The Dzamefe Commission was set up by President Mahama in 2014 to look into the circumstances surrounding Ghana's chaotic appearance at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. After the submission of their report, government issued a White paper last week pending the release of the full report. That full report has yet to be made available to the public.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) whose activities according to a recommendation are to be subjected to a forensic audit were forced to cancel a press conference as they wanted their lawyers to make an input into their response to the report.
