Ace journalist Kwesi Pratt Junior has launched a scathing attack on the moderator of the Presby Church Prof Emmanuel Martey, describing him as a man who lacks the knowledge of God.
According to him, the utterances of the presby boss makes it difficult to believe that he speaks the “mind of God” as is expected of reverend ministers.
“I’m sure that some people in this country actually believe that people like reverend Martey and others are men of God and that they speak for God; how they come by that conclusion, I don’t know.
“But I will be very surprised if God will use the interpret language that reverend Martey uses. Anybody with a respect for God cannot ascribe the qualities of God to reverend Martey because there is no grace in what he says.
“The wisdom attributed to God is not present in what he says so there is a huge problem about making somebody like reverend Martey the replica of God on earth,” the managing editor of the Insight newspaper fumed on Radio Gold’s ‘Alhaji and Alhaji’ Saturday.
Pratt was commenting on the recent attacks on the Mahama administration by the Presby moderator.
Prof Martey has said he could fix Ghana’s current energy crisis [dumsor] in three months if he was the President of Ghana.
“Listen, Ghana is not a big country to fix this problem. [In] four months you can solve it; at most [in] six months…
“If I were in charge, within three months I will solve the problem,” the plain-talking Chairman of the Christian Council of Ghana said last week when he preached to the Akyem Old Tafo Grace Church in the Eastern region.
