Tokyo, Nov. 9, GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor on Thursday arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, from Seoul where he attended the first Korea-Africa Forum to begin a two-day official state visit. He is being accompanied by the Foreign Minister, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, Minister of Energy, Mr Joseph Kofi Adda and some other senior Government officials.

The main highlights of the visit include the holding of high level bilateral discussions with the Japanese Prime Minister, Mr Shinzo Abe and his predecesor, Mr Junichiro Koizumi.

He would also meet with some captains of industry in Japan, including a delegation of the ITOCHU Corporation as part of the continued drive to attract more foreign private capital to Ghana's economy to help quicken the pace of the country's development.
