Ghana’s First President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, declared the Smock as a “battle dress.” He was well aware of the cultures that allowed the wearing of smock which he noted were ones blessed with honest, intelligent, hardworking and determined people, who had limited opportunities as compared to their counterparts in the South. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah predicted the emergence of a Northern President. Thank God President John Dramani Mahama has emerged to fulfill the true dream of Ghana’s founder, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Fifty Seven years ago, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah sent a message around,it's takes someone with critical thinking to understand. It is worth noting that, for the historic declaration of Ghana’s Independence, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his five colleagues proudly wore smocks on the podium at the Old Polo Grounds. He was aware it was only a Northern President that will lead a true united Ghana to the promised land, and Insha Allah, president Mahama is getting there!!.

The main opposition party of this country npp, tried everything in their power to make sure President Mahama did not get the chance of leading this country, telling big lies even after a Supreme Court verdict. Just like Obama assuming the presidency, it was a long prophesy by Marcus Garvey that one day a black will be president in America, like wise Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's prophesy of seeing a northern president leading Ghana one day.

The NDC Founder, Ex President, Jerry John Rawlings, used to wears the smock. He was like John the Baptist in the bible that came to clear way for God's prophecy to be fulfill. In his time, he led a united Ghana and it is time for president Mahama to carry on the baton as predicted Earlier by Ghana's founder.

Countrymen and women, the future ahead us is full of promises under our current President for that unifier as indicated by Dr.Kwame Nkrumah is here. A future where the labour of many is not exploited to the benefit of just a few greedy people.

The smock is a symbol of hope for Ghana and Mahama is one who wears a smock, he is a warrior and will close the ranks for Ghanaians to chase out our bad economic situations. Let's all be confident in our President, the first Northern President of the 4th republic.

I wish every Ghanaian, great happiness in this year Salla and many years that lie ahead and trust that together we shall go forward to our successful destiny.

Long live Ghana....
