Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho has in a subtle manner advised aggrieved National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who intend joining the NDP to shelve such plans.
According to him, it is better to remain in the NDC and resolve all differences than form splinter groups.
Mr. Anyidoho who appeared on Breakfast XYZ said the NDC remains the best political machinery that can transform the country’s growth.
His comments come a day after Nana Konadu’s NDP was disqualified from the 2012 general elections.
According to Koku Anyidoho, like Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus, “let us pray that those who want to destroy the NDC don’t end up hanging themselves.”
He said the future of the NDC is very bright because President John Mahama is leading the party to victory.
“He’s the Joshua who will lead us into Jericho. We shall match around those walls of Jericho and bring down the walls of vile propaganda, the walls of poverty, the walls of maladministration,” he added.
He advised NDC members to stay loyal to the party ahead of the December polls.
