A Policy and Communications Analyst at the Presidency, Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor, has been slapped with a 30-day suspension following some comments she made on social media.
Dr. Donkor is said to have stated that dealing with footsoldiers should not be encouraged.
“You shouldn’t. You can’t reason with them. It’s like tribalist” her comment read.
Although she has apologized, the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare in a notice to the Special Advisor to the President on SDGs, Eugene Owusu, directed that Dr. Donkor should be suspended for thirty days as the “unsavory” comments “sought to disparage a section of the Ghanaian society, a conduct which is unacceptable to this Office.”
Dr. Donkor, according to the notice is “required to render, in writing, an unconditional apology and commit to good behavior.
Her suspension takes effect on June 13, 2018.
