Prez. Mahama storms northern Volta with Better Ghana campaign

President John Dramani Mahama is in the northern part of the Volta Region to continue his community-based campaign tour.

The president started off his campaign at the Ave-Afadjato area where he addressed the chiefs and people in the town. He is expected to visit Kpando and nearby towns.

President Mahama last week capped a tour of the southern part of the region with the launch of the party’s campaign manifesto.

He is said to be accompanied by the Volta Regional Minister, Henry Ford Kamel and other leading members of the government from the region.

XYZ News’ Presidential Correspondent, Kwame Danso Acheampong, reports that the residents came out in their numbers to support the president.
