Professor Joshua Alabi will win the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential race hands down and give the party victory in 2020, a campaign coordinator, Nii Amasah Namoale, has predicted.

Nii Amasah Namoale who was optimistic of victory for the aspiring presidential candidate told Kwame Tutu that, Professor Alabi, will not only win the NDC primaries but will win the 2020 presidential national race by one touch in 2020.

Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the former legislator said, Mr Alabi has been able to convince delegates and sold his message across the length and breadth of the country.

He disclosed on the show Professor Alabi will file on Monday December 17, 2018.

He extended an invitation to all NDC delegates and supporters of Professor Alabi to storm the party’s headquarters and support the viable candidate who is poised to bringing victory in 2020.

‘’Professor Alabi will file on Monday. I will entreat all party delegates and supporters of Professor Alabi to come and witness the filing by Professor Alabi. After the filing, he will deliver an address and so I entreat everyone to be present.’’

He then threw salvos at former President John Dramani Mahama and accused him of faking his popularity.

He said, Mr Mahama is not popular as perceived. He is only acting and faking his popularity. Professor Alabi is more popular, more viable and the best option for the NDC. He will win the internal race hands down and win the 2020 race by one touch.’’

Professor Alabi has consistently expressed optimism of beating Mr Mahama to become the flagbearer and subsequently win the national polls.

In a recent interview with the media he said: “I will win the primaries and will be Ghana’s president for 8 good years and so Ghanaians should watch out for me. I will make Ghana the Swiss of Africa when given the nod and I know I will win hands down.”

“I’ve already factored him [Mahama] within my campaign strategy so I am not worried. I know surely that I will win the primaries. God is at the center of my campaign,” he said.
