Prof. JH Kwabena Nketia goes home tomorrow

Late Ghanaian Ethnomusicologist, Emeritus Professor Joseph Hanson Kwabena Nketia, will be given a state burial on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

There will be a pre-burial service at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra.

Late Professor Nketia, Africa’s premier Musicologist, died at age 97 on March 13, this year.

His funeral will be characterised by lots of rich Ghanaian cultural displays as well as music performances by the Winneba Youth Choir, among other choral groups.
