Prof Mills' Office Reacts To Kwabena Agyepong's lies

Kwabena Agyepong’s Lies!

Just like Stephen Asamoah Boateng and Dr. Arthur Kennedy attempted to do, as regards putting out lies about Professor Atta Mills supposedly agreeing to accept the national award and then changing his mind, Kwabena Agyepong, has exposed himself as a peddler of falsehood.

On Adom FM’s “Die Mi Hunu Egyumadie” programme this evening, Kwabena Agyepong sought to create the false impression that Professor Atta Mills, at the IEA ‘Evening Encounter”, said that he will accept the award.

The Office of Professor Atta Mills states once again that, the Leader and Presidential Candidate of the NDC, NEVER, during the “Evening Encounter”, said that he will accept the award.

The office of the NDC Leader is daring Kwabena Agyepong to produce evidence to support his extremely false assertion.

The selfsame Kwabena Agyepong, on the same Adom FM programme, put out another false information to the effect that Professor Atta Mills, when he visited Nkroful recently, on the third phase of his very successful tour of the Western Region, said that he will accept the award and hand it over to the people of Nkroful to honour Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

This false assertion by Kwabena Agyepong, accentuates nothing but the attempt by a very desperate NPP to peddle lots of falsehood in its bid to worm its way out of the cul-de-sac it has found itself in, as far as this year’s murky confetti-distributing national awards is concerned.

For a fact, Professor Atta Mills spoke to the issue of the national awards when he visited Nkroful.

But, the learned Professor said nothing close to the falsehood that Kwabena Agyepong peddled.

At Nkroful, Professor Atta Mills said that, when it comes to national awards, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is deserving of the highest award of the Land and that, when given the mandate to manage the affairs of state, he will make sure that the birthday of the Founder of Ghana becomes a national holiday in memory of the deserving place of honour that the late Osagyefo deserves on Ghana’s calendar.

If Kwabena Agyepong alleges that he has facts to counter the truth that the Office of Professor Atta Mills is putting out, we dare him to produce whatever evidence he has.

If Kwabena Agyepong, as Presidential Press Secretary to President Kufuor, when the President missed a scheduled interview with Shaka Ssali on VOA under inexplicable circumstances, was able to peddle falsehood that the President missed the programme because he was caught up in traffic in the city of New York, we are not surprised that Kwabena will not hesitate to peddle falsehood about Professor Atta Mills.

From the look of things, the peddling of falsehood is Kwabena Agyepong’s forte.

The Office of Professor Atta Mills once again reiterates our point that, the likes of, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Dr. Arthur Kennedy, Kwabena Agyepong, and the NPP as a political party, SHALL not be allowed to move on, without appropriate responses, in their very frantic bid to peddle falsehood about Professor John Evans Atta Mills and hopefully score cheap political points in favour of Akufo-Addo.
