Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on Monday, December 8, 2025, served as the Reviewing Officer at the 46th Ceremonial Change of Guards at the Jubilee House, marking a significant moment in her tenure as Ghana’s first female vice president.

The quarterly ceremony, which symbolises the transfer of security responsibility at the Presidency, saw the outgoing Ghana Navy contingent hand over duties to a new guard from the Ghana Air Force.

This is the first time Prof Opoku-Agyemang has performed the role on behalf of the Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, President John Dramani Mahama, who is currently on official duties outside the country.
