The Progressive People's Party (PPP), the only plausible political alternative to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghana has on Saturday, June 2, 2018, launched its UK's Midlands branch at an event attended by the party’s founder, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom.

At the launch, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom affirmed the new Midlands executives and assured the party’s branch of his support—while calling on them to change the narrative by educating their people in Ghana on the urgent need to consider the PPP for not just what it has long stood for but what it would do for Ghanaians if voted into power.

Dr Nduom stated among other things that it does not matter how long it takes, the PPP will make a mark within and beyond the Ghanaian political landscape.

To commemorate the launch, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom removed his pair of red and white shoes and PPP wristband, for the Midlands executives to keep at the branch in remembrance of the historic event.

The Midland’s branch launch was also attended by the party’s UK Chapter Chairman, Mr Kit Yawson, the Midlands branch Chairman, Mr Austin Appiah and several PPP executives as well as supporters from the UK and Ghana.

Supporters of PPP based in the Midlands used the party’s branch launch to appeal to Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, who has a constellation of successful businesses around the world including in London to establish a business within the Midlands to serve as a source of employment for the huge number of Ghanaians within the Midlands and its environs.

The Progressive People's Party is officially ‘awake’ in UK’s Midlands.
