Promise keeping Nana Addo, please fix our roads - Omanhene of Bechem

The Omanhene of Bechem Traditional Area, Nana Fosu Gyarbour Akoto II, has appealed to President Akufo-Addo Addo, to have their deplorable roads fixed.

The traditional leader in his appeal made mention of the Bechem town roads and Bechem -Techimantia -Dermaa roads.

According to the ruler, successive governments have failed to have these deplorable roads fixed despite the assurances given the people.

He encouraged the president to give his people, a fair share of the national cake and his agenda for development.

“I am appealing to you to help repair our deplorable roads. I know you are a promise keeping president and whatever you say, you do; so please do well to help fix our desirable roads. If you are able to do this for us, we will never forget you, ” he added.

The Omanhene also called on the president to create a new district in Tano South for the people because they believe it has come of age.

President Akufo-Addo in his response to the appeal, assured the people and traditional leaders that their roads would fixed.

The president said he will fulfill every single promise he made to the Ghanaian people.

He said “I want to personally assure that the Bechem town roads, would be repaired. Also, with the Bechem -Techimantia -Dermaa roads, they would be factored in the second phase of the Synohydro project.
