Proprietor appeals for examination centre

Apostle Kadmiel E. H. Agbalenyo Founder and Leader of the Seven Day Adventist Theocracy Church, has expressed the need for the establishment of an examination centre at Homedakrom in the Eastern Region.

He called on the Ghana Education Service and the West African Examination Council (WAEC), to establish the centre to curb the plight of students who have to travel for 20 kilometres to Obodan in the Eastern Region, to take their examination.

He said the situation make the students go through stress and affect their focus.

Apostle Agbalenyo who had established a primary, junior high and senior high schools at Homeda-Otiakrom, a suburb of Homedakrom, near Nsakye in the Akuapim South District made the appeal in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.

This was after the proprietor had organised a farewell get-together for about 54 outgoing senior high students of his school who undertook the recently held WAEC examination early this year.

Apostle Agbalenyo advised the students to give due respect to their parents and teachers while attending Church to become God-fearing persons.

He asked them not to forget their books as that would enable them to achieve greater height in education and to meet their intended aims in life.

The Proprietor called on parents to continue to enroll their children in school, saying without education the future of the family, society and the nation at large would be bleak.

Apostle Agbalenyo commended the headmaster, teachers and the staff of the schools for their hard work and asked them not to rest on their oars.
