Kumasi, May 20, GNA - The Prudential Bank Limited (PBL) On Tuesday opened its 18th branch in the country at Aboabo in Kumasi with a pledge to roll out innovative products to support small and medium scale businesses.
Mr Stephen Sekyere-Abankwah, Managing Director of the bank, said management was determined to help local businesses to expand their operations to create jobs and wealth. He urged customers to also do their bit by remaining honest in their dealings with the Bank and to ensure that loans granted them were promptly repaid.
Mr Sekyere-Abankwah said with the opening of the branch, banking services had been brought closer to the people and encouraged the community to save with it.
"The importance of banking cannot be discounted. It is an opportunity, you must all accept to take advantage of." PBL started operating in Ghana 12 years ago and the Aboabo branch was the fourth to be located in the Kumasi Metropolis. Madam Grace Osei Bonsu, Head of Retail Marketing of the Bank, outlined the products and services offered by the bank and urged individuals and organisations to sign up.
