Accra, Dec. 28, GNA - Polling officials in some polling stations in the Klottey Korle Constituency appeared to be just waiting for 1700 hours to get busy again when counting of the ballots officially begins. When the GNA went around some poling centres around 1400 hours most of the officials were idle as the early morning queues had melted with no potential voters to attend to. At the Globe Cinema Hall, polling officials were seen chatting to while away the time.

The story was the same at the Grace Day Care Centre where one official told the GNA that the centre was a very small one with just under 300 voters on the register. He said about half of that number had cast their ballots as at 1400 hours. Similarly, at the Calvary Baptist Church polling station there was virtually no queue.
