Controversial musician, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus says a court injunction will not stop him from talking about Minister of communication, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful since she is paid with the taxpayer’s money.

According to him, he’ll only stop talking about the minister if she quits politics and ventures into farming.

“Ursula Owusu make I tell you something, look me I will talk about you. Your’e paid with my tax money and you run to court and ask a judge to place an injunction on me to prevent me from talking about you… What stops you from leaving our tax money, leaving government, going to find a farmland and farm so that nobody will talk about you,” he stated in a Facebook video.

He added that any attempts to prevent him from speaking about the government will be a waste as he doesn’t fear court suits.

Kwame Asare Obeng also accused the Minster’s lawyer of trying to gain some cheap points by sharing something the minister had asked to be sent to him on social media.

“Your client asked you to write to me and you write and put it on social media just to get some cheap point and you think you can stop Kwame A plus from talking.”

A Plus who insists he is a strong supporter of President Akufo-Addo says the president doesn’t see everything that goes on thus “I’ll have to point out to him that Nana, Ursula Owusu, you have to sack her”.

For the musician, politicians are fake because they beg voters to be elected into power and once they get the power, they laud it over the same people who voted for them.

background

Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, early this month sued the controversial musician, for defaming her.

In the suit filed by her lawyer Gary Nimako Marfo at an Accra High Court, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful prayed the court for an interlocutory injunction to restrain A-Plus and his associates from making further “defamatory comments” about her.

This follows the refusal of the vocal musician to retract and apologize for allegedly suggesting that she was involved in some corrupt deals at the Communications Ministry.
