He said the constant derogatory remarks made against the police, especially the operations of the Kasoa Motor and Traffic and Transport Unit, by some radio stations, was most discouraging.
Kasoa (C/R) June 7 GNA- The Kasoa District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jordan Quaye has cautioned the local media, not to create 'bad blood' between the police and the general public. He said the constant derogatory remarks made against the police, especially the operations of the Kasoa Motor and Traffic and Transport Unit, by some radio stations, was most discouraging. The Police Commander gave the caution in a press statement issued at Winneba at the weekend. DSP Quaye asked radio presenters to appreciate the efficient crime prevention and combat and motor accident prevention efforts of the Kasoa Police. He said the mass media should assist the police to work in a conducive environment, to facilitate development. DSP Quaye asked media personnel and the public to report the activities of miscreants in the police service, for immediate attention.
