Rainstorm destroys properties

Abira (Ash), Oct 28, GNA - Mr. Charles Yeboah, Atwima District Chief Executive, on behalf of the District Assembly, has donated 50 bags of cement and 10 packets of roofing sheets to the people of Abira in the Atwima District to rehabilitate their Local Authority Primary School which was hit by rainstorm recently.

He has also asked the District National Disaster Management Organization to assist individuals whose houses have been ripped off as a result of the rainstorm.

The DCE advised the people to plant trees to serve as windbreaks. Nana Akowua Ansah 11, Chief of Abira thanked the District Assembly for the donation.

Nana Ansah assured the District Chief Executive that his people would rehabilitate the school with the items.
