A former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Obuasi, Mr. Ofori Agyemang affectionately called Zuba is challenging former President Jerry John Rawlings to furnish the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) with a list of members he considers as upright with his kind of integrity.

The founder of the opposition NDC during a Town Hall at the Arts Centre in Accra last Saturday claimed persons who are of integrity and could facilitate the rebuilding of the party to make it a formidable force to reckon with, have been relegated to the background.

He was of the view that there are people with integrity who can lead the party to victory in future elections but have been denied such opportunities.

But Mr. Ofori Agyemang who was responding to his comments on Angel Fm in Kumasi, requested Mr. Rawlings to provide names of the said integrity members in the party.

He argued that Mr. Rawlings had always attacked the party for voting for certain officials adding that, they are now confused, therefore he must provide people with integrity to be voted for.

“He should give us the list of the integrity people and I will personally leave all my business and campaign for them to bring back the party, he said”.

“Make it clear, those who fit for the various positions as well”, he added.

Mr. Agyemang, indicated that the NDC is ever ready to listen and do whatever their founder will bring on board for the success of the party as well as allow peace prevail.

“He is our father, and we have nothing to do with what he says than obey”. He stressed.

Zuba urged fellow members to listen and obey him as he (Rawlings) plans to bring on board his members and leaders with “integrity”.

“If Rawlings would like to pick forms to aspire for the national chairmanship position or any other he can because there is no law that bans him from contesting”.
