Former President Rawlings, a man who has what can be described as a congenial hatred for the press has started visiting media houses.

Rawlings was seen last Friday at Weija Industrial and Commercial Estates at Block A.5, which houses the offices of the “Ghana Palaver”.

Momentarily, the few people around who saw the former President looked shocked at such an unannounced visit, as they stood glued to the spot.

Not one to be taken in by such actions, Rawlings sent for Joojo Bruce Quansah, the editor of the “Ghana Palaver”. They were seen by eyewitnesses exchanging pleasantries and laughter.

An eyewitness said Rawlings’ visit was a complete shock considering that the man has kept a dignified silence in the last few months.

The paper reports that, the “Golden Silence” policy of the former President is to help former Vice President Atta-Mills to prosecute his own campaign.
